The Lake Johnson trail is 1.8 miles long. It begins at Trail 251 and ends at Lake Johnson.
Trail Condition: Excellent
This relatively lightly used trail is in excellent condition. From its junction with the Skyline Trail – Trail #251, it begins climbing on the east side of a large meadow before switchbacking more steeply toward the lake. There are a few trees down, but nothing that obscures passage.
While never that steep, the grade of the trail lessens as it approaches the lake. The trail dead ends at the lake.
